TR-33N - Ruff Day | Music Video
Responding directly to the intensity and structure of the music, the work translates sound into a shifting landscape of fractured geometric forms, saturated colour and rhythmic movement. Angular compositions emerge, collapse and reform, creating a visual language that mirrors the energy and emotional release embedded within the record.
Developed as both a standalone music video and a visual component for live performance, the project explores the relationship between sound, motion and digital space. Rather than illustrating the music, the visuals operate as a parallel system, responding to changes in texture, dynamics and atmosphere to create a unified audiovisual experience.
While created within a music context, the project reflects an enduring interest in the relationship between sound, movement and visual systems. Techniques developed through audiovisual performance and music visualisation continue to inform my installation practice, where light and image respond dynamically to environmental and sensory inputs.
