NIMBUS is an audiovisual album, a collaboration with Dayflower which was released on Communion Slush:
Nimbus is a collection of unheard Dayflower music reworked and woven into a gleaming, expansive technoscape by audiovisual artist Andy Harper aka AJH.
FFO: staring at the skies, radiance, halos, godheads, clouds, 圓光, sculptured divinity, MS-DOS 3.1 but not IBM PC compatible.
A deeply immersive, long-form trip of this kind is unexplored territory for a band usually associated with snappy (often densely layered) singles. Yet as a whole the mixtape gracefully expands on Dayflower's recognisable, dreamy aesthetic while never quite leaving it behind.

“Dhonau and Harper are not just making art; they are crafting narratives that provoke reflection and foster a more in-depth understanding of our shared human experience. Their creative synergy is a beacon of metamodernism, fusing art, nature, and spirituality in a way that avoids cynicism and manipulation. Through their work, they are paving the way for a new era in the Leicester digital arts scene, one that embraces complexity, celebrates diversity, and inspires a sense of awe and wonder in the face of the natural world.”
Part of an interview on Leicester Emergent Arts Radio, at the Phoenix in Leicester where I discussed our forthcoming album release, the Nimbus Mixtape - with David Conrad Dhonau from Dayflower with Dr Rob Watson.
