Experiments | Guardfish
An experimental audio-driven generative artwork built in Trapcode TAO, exploring the intersection of electronic music and algorithmic visual creation. This piece translates Dave Stitch's sonic compositions into dynamic linear structures that respond to frequency content, amplitude, and rhythmic patterns in real-time.
The visual system creates complex webs of interconnected lines that pulse, grow, and evolve according to the audio input, forming organic structures that suggest both neural networks and underwater ecosystems. The generative nature of the piece means each playback produces unique visual formations while maintaining coherence with the musical narrative.
Guardfish investigates how sound can be transformed into spatial relationships, using particle systems and procedural animation to create a symbiotic relationship between audio and visual elements.
