Experiments | Dejitarusutōmu デジタルストーム
An exploration of natural dualities through digital interpretation - investigating how phenomena like rainstorms might appear when filtered through video synthesis and computational processing. Created as part of a comprehensive artistic investigation in 2021, this piece examines the intersection between organic weather patterns and digital translation.
The composition uses Processing and Hydra for visual generation, combined with browser-based tools to capture and manipulate binaural frequencies. The work questions how natural forces can be reimagined through technological mediation, creating a digital storm that exists somewhere between simulation and abstraction.
This exploration formed part of a larger body of work that culminated in both live performance and recorded output, investigating the boundaries between natural phenomena and their technological representations.
